Year 4 visited the fantastic Centre for Life today in Newcastle, for their Science Trip. To start with, the pupils took part in a workshop in the Science labs focused on Solids, Liquids and Gases, the topic they are currently studying at School. The pupils then had the opportunity to look around the 'Space Zone' where they were inspired by the wonders of the Universe and how space exploration impacts on our everyday lives. They also discovered all sorts of interesting facts about life on the International Space Station. Next up was exploring the 'Brain Zone' where pupils found out how our brain works and how it controls the body - often without realising it.  The trip was completed with a skate around the ice rink which was great fun, even in the rain!
