Year 3 & 4 Play
Years 3 and 4 came together to produce a magical performance in the woods, all about the importance of being good stewards of the earth. Each member of the team had the opportunity to bring their message to life through a variety of scenes, dances, and poems. The cast of over 40 pupils rehearsed over several weeks as they offered ideas on the benefits of being at a school that is deep in nature and also how we can each do our bit to help protect the planet.
The unpredictable weather threatened to stop our plans for performing in the woods, with final rehearsals and the Pre-Prep presentations taking place in the Gym. Despite the challenges faced, the cast and crew would not be beaten and in true Mowden Spirit, the cast performed to their parents and peers outside (even if umbrellas were needed as the performance continued!).
A huge thank you to all who made this production possible, especially Mrs Johnson, who pulled everything together.
