On Wednesday 12th February, the children in Nursery have been talking about ‘Toys’ this term and so, to end our topic, we had a fantastic trip to MrWolf’s Toy Shop in Hexham. We looked at lots of different types of toys and even got to play with some of them. We had a story and then Mr Wolf face-timed us from their Newcastle store and showed us some of his favourite toys. The children were all allowed to choose two stickers from their box and they got to stamp a card with Mr Wolf’s pocket watch stamp. When it was time to leave, the children were each given a goody bag with a game in. Lots of us would like to go back and spend some money. It was a lovely end to our topic.
