Boarders' weekend 8.10.21

Boarders' weekend 8.10.21

This weekend started with a very busy invitational cross country. However, the buzz from the afternoon continued into the evening for our Bongo Bingo event! Dancing on the tables, singing our hearts out, and winning Bingo prizes and prizes for the best dance moves were all very exciting. Thomas and Henry were involved in the final dance off and busted the moves to "Gangnam Style". It was too tough to call and in the end both children ended up winning the last of the prizes.

On Sunday morning some boarders took part in a tie-dyeing activity. They turned white vests, socks, and T-shirts into the most wonderfully coloured creations. Some of them have been promised to be worn on "odd sock day" on the 15th November.

Later in the day, we took the boarders to a space-themed crazy golf venue. Mr Mulligan's has 3 separate 9 hole courses which tested our boarders' skill and patience!  They all set off in different groups and had an ice cream treat mid-way. Some scores were very low, some very high! One of the holes saw someone attempting to pot 31 times! Suitably galactically challenged, we returned to school for a chilled evening of movies and treats.
