Year 7 travelled to Durham to have a tour round the magnificent Cathedral and to have a good study of the Open Treasure exhibition, set up in the original monastery buildings. Our guide concentrated much of the time on the northern saints, SS Cuthbert, Oswald, Hilda, Aidan and Bede as we looked around the main parts. Some pupils were allowed to put on costumes of a monk, a bishop. a king and others.
