Pupils from Year 1 and 2 have braved snowy conditions to head out into the wilds of Northumberland to visit the stunning Alnwick Castle. We took part in a wand making workshop, listened to a fabulous tale from the Castle’s history and many of us braved the dragon quest! We also manged to spot many of the key features of castles that we have learnt about in History this term, including the keep, the ramparts and a great many arrow slits.
