On Sunday 10th June, the boarders headed to Tynemouth Longsands beach for their annual visit. The weather was glorious, and it did not take long for the intrepid Mowdenians to get into the sea! We all had a gorgeous day – how lovely it was to see children being children. Sandcastles, swimming, cricket and digging were the order of the door – not a gadget or device in sight – refreshing!
