Under 9 Rounders v Durham Choristers
On Friday 1st July, the u9 rounders team played at home against Durham Choristers. In the first innings the score was Mowden 5 ½ and Choristers 7 ½. In the second innings we batted well with Ella scoring several rounders. We found bowling difficult today but managed to get lots of their team out with super fielding including a good catch from poppy. The final score was 13 to the Choristers and 10 to Mowden.

Under 12 Rounder v St Martins
On Wednesday the 8th of June the U12 rounders team travelled to play against St Martins, Ampleforth. We fielded first, trying to keep the score down. Rebecca took 3 good catches.
Our batting, however, was not as strong as it should have been. After Ampleforth’s second innings we needed 10 rounders in total to win. Keeping our score in mind and upping the risk, we finally managed a total of 11 rounders.
