Northumberland and Newcastle Schools Hockey League Champions 2010

Mowden U13 girls hockey team, winners of the 2009-2010 Northumberland and Newcastle Schools League. The girls won all their matches apart from being held to a 0-0 draw against Kings School, Tynemouth. They scored 23 goals without conceding any.

On Friday 14 May, our captain, Alice Cheesbrough, attended a presentation for the Northumberland Schools Under 13 county hockey team. Following an outstanding season playing at centre mid-field for the county Alice was awarded player of the year and subsequently chosen to take part in regional coaching.
