One of the very top, favourite trips at Sauveterre is, maybe surprisingly to some , the visit to the Ferme Pédagogique des Balances in the Gers, near Seissan. Patrick, Marie and their dog Bella met us as we clambered off the bus and took us to meet their animals. Meet is the word as the children quickly found themselves feeding birds and animals by hand, holding new born chicks, milking and feeding goats all around the farm. The whole trip is an unforgettable experience for the children and it is hoped that some new French words and phrases are picked up along the way!
