Year One and Two had a super time at Hartlepool’s Maritime Museum learning about the lives of pirates and sailors two hundred years ago. We had a tour around HMS Trincomalee, the oldest British warship afloat. The children learned some gruesome facts about life on a ship and experienced the cannon firing across the harbour. We had a picnic lunch in a pirate themed room aboard another ship. A fantastic day was had by all!
