The older boarders went to learn the finer points of roller blading at Killingworth Sports Centre, where they were taught about balance and movement on wheels! They played games like trying to keep up with the fastest instructor. They were challenged to race against the clock, trying to reach a target and back in under 30 seconds. They listened to music so they could skate around to the rhythm and free skate. It was quite dark so the disco lights were shining around the hall.
