It is always exciting when Rev. Fiona Sample comes to take a school assembly, as they are always unpredicatable and fun! In today’s assembly, she brought some of the vestments that she uses to wear at different services and she explained what her role had been this weekend as Chaplain to the Bishop of Newcastle. Some enthusiastic voluteers came up on stage to “model” the various items of her priestly vestments, so we could all understand the significance and traditions of Church Ministers’ clothing.
