The Main School and Year 3 from the Pre-Prep walked up to church at 10.30 for an Armistice Day service, led by Rev Fiona Sample. The Choir sang their anthem “Spirit of God” to the tune of The Skye Boat Song. Children read prayers and a reading and we stood for a two minute silence at 11.00 precisely. The Hoys led the Act of Remembrance by laying the wreath. Four trumpeters and Mr Fowlds played the Last Post and the Reveille very confidently and tunefully. The service ended with two verses of the National Anthem.
