Cragside

Yr 3 visited Cragside, the home ofWilliam Armstrong. This was a combined History and Art trip, to see all the amazing inventions that were installed in the house and to look at the beautiful wallpaper designed by William Morris. It was a hot, sunny day so we had our picnic under the trees before heading off for a walk in the extensive gardens. We learnt that over the years, William Morris planted more than 7 million trees!
