Space Lab

On a recent visit to the Centre for Life in Newcastle, Year 2 attended a Space Workshop where they learned what is necessary to support life on a planet and how to classify if things are alive or not. They were then given a selection of items and had to decide which were important to take on a space mission.

Next, they visited the planetarium to see a film show about our Galaxy and the planets and stars. We also learned about constellations, comets and meteors. A very enjoyable and informative trip.
