Dukes House

The Yr 3 group visited Dukes House, the beautiful Victorian home of the Anderton family. After a long walk down the drive, visiting the coalpits and punching the giant Sequoia trees, we arrived at the impressive house. Mrs Anderton showed us around all the interesting original Victorian features, even the cellars! All the new facts learnt will help us with our history project on the Victorians.
