Making a return to Mowden after their fabulous performance last September, the Ugandan children’s choir, “Pearl of Africa” involved all the Prep School children in workshops throughout Friday morning and invited them onto the stage during their amazing concert in the afternoon. The mesmerizing rhythms, the stunning colours and the energetic dancing of the visiting children all served to enhance the most impressive part of the show, the incredible sound of their singing voices. Parents, staff and children from Prep and Pre-Prep were entertained magnificently.
After the concert, there was an opportunity to contribute to their hard-working charity by buying items from the delightful African craft sale in the school library.
