On Friday 29th September we welcomed the Pearl of Africa choir for their third visit. They gave a series of workshops throughout the morning, including singing with Years 7 & 8, dancing with Year 6, African drumming with Year 5 and ending with more singing for Years 3 & 4. This was followed by a spectacular concert where they demonstrated their immense skills. All of our pupils were invited onto the stage to join in and the enthusiasm shone through. The concert was well attended, helping to raise funds for the charity, and the crafts stall in the front hall and library was very popular too.
Thanks to Margaret, Debbie etc. for organising the event, our talented visitors, and all the children who made this event such a special occasion.
