Successful Short Stories!

During the Spring term 2011, 5S entered Chris Evans’Radio 2 Short Story Competition. They had to write under 500 words on any subject they liked and carefully edited their stories before sending them in to Radio 2. During the Easter holidays, George Gibson and Harry Remnant heard that they had reached the final 900, out of a staggering 30,000 entries. Many congratulations to them! The best 5 stories will be read out by a famous writer in Radio 2 at the Hay Literary Festival.
