A very warm welcome to our many newcomers to Mowden Hall. It is marvellous to see the great number of smiling, fresh new faces in all levels of the school. Year 4 is looking particularly full and the children are adapting quickly to Mowden life, assisted by their guides. In the photos, we see the guides and their new friends, and all the new Mowdenians together in a group, as well as others taken around school during the first 24 hours of term.
Year 6 went on a “Sensory Walk” in Mrs Hadfield’s lesson to learn how to develop their expression when describing things around them, using their senses and synonyms, choosing the right words to describe the garden.
