Jazz Ensemble: The Jazz Ensemble meets every Monday after lunch. Trumpets, trombones, saxophones and clarinets combine to play a range of jazz styles. These aremainly arrangements from the AB Jazz syllabus. Members learn to play as a section, and also develop skills in improvisation.

PlayEnsembles: Whenever there is a school play (Years 6-8) an ensemble is formed to provide the incidental music. Music is written specifically for the players and is designed to test their skills under pressure.

Brass, Flute and StringEnsembles all rehearse regularly throughout the year.Musicians gainvaluable experience in ensemble playing.

AssemblyBands: In each of the three assemblies a group of musicians accompany the set hymn, playing arrangements in five parts. This regular playing improves confidence in sight-reading and performing under pressure.
