A memorable day at Mowden with all the lawns covered in games, stalls, competitions and squeals of delight. The Queen’s Birthday Cake competition received some fantastically decorated baked offerings. The smells of South African burgers and sausages mingled with those of hog roast, fresh ice cream and French café delights. There were pony rides, snail races, rocket launches and all kinds of other attractions to enjoy. The weather picked up, making the stocks more inviting and the bouncy castle even more bouncy. Huge thanks to all involved in making this such a successful event.
