Mowden Hall Reading Competition 2018

The Reading Competition took place over a period of five days, with each set of finalists reading from different consecutive parts of a text or piece of poetry. As usual, the standard was extremely high this year, as we all enjoyed the chance to listen to a great variety of writing styles and reading skills. Our thanks and congratulations go to all children in the Prep School for taking part, the four finalists in each year group, the English staff, who helped to coach the readers and to the judges, whose unlucky task it was to select a winner from such a high standard of performances.
