Christmas was officially underway as the musicians, singers and readers of Mowden Hall turned up at the magnificent Matfen Hall for the annual convert in the Great Hall. A large crowd of parents, families and friends turned up to watch and to join in with the Christmas carols, music and readings, performed from the mighty staircase and around the mammouth Christmas tree. All agreed that it was a first class concert and congratulations go to all the children who performed with such professionalism, their teachers and directors and to the audience who offered so much support. The arrangements were mainly down to Mr Fowlds, Mrs Roberson and Mr Hampton, who ensured that the performances were exceptional! The mince pies and other refreshments afterwards were extremely welcome too!
