Saturday night saw our boarders battle it out for the much coveted LipSync prize! Pupils (and Staff!) could not wait to raid the fancy dress cupboard and put together their moves and grooves for their on-stage performance. Renditions of Call Me Maybe by Carly Rae Jepson, Hello by Adele, Wrecking Ball from Miley Cyrus, Abba’s Dancing Queen and by no means least, Baby Shark, were heard throughout the school and beyond as the groups tried their hardest to impress the judges. The evening was the perfect initiation for our new Gap students having only recently arrived at Mowden. Having seen their enthusiasm for both dressing up and performing we know they will fit in well here! The Boarders had a wonderful time at Inflataspace on Sunday as they bounced, jumped and flew, through the air on the various apparatus. The arena was overflowing in opportunities to take on some big air creating lots of happy smiley faces and hungry tummies on their return to school for a lovely hot supper. A fantastic and fun-filled weekend.
