Sauveterre children enjoyed a day watching the semi-finals of the World Under 14 tennis championships in Tarbes, at the foot of the Pyrenees. Many big names are visible on the roll of honour of previous winners and runners-up, Djokavitch, Murray, Federer, Kournikova, Chang, Tsnga, Nadal…. There was lots to enjoy in the entrance foyer, with challenges, shops, cafés and autograph hunting, and some fantastic tennis to watch between the semi-finalists, with an American just managing to beat a French player in a very close match.
