The four houses gathered at the front of the Main Building for the annual test of sheer strength – The House Tug o’ War. Six boys and six girls from each house were selected and ends were chosen at random. First off were Collingwood and Grey. In a best of three, Collingwood won two in a row. Stephenson then took on Bewick in a strenuous heave and Stephenson emerfed vicyorious after a tough 2-1 pull.
