Visit to Durham

We also looked at Venerable Bede's tomb and the Miner's Memorial. We looked at some of the stained glass, including the Marks and Spencer's Window designed in 1995, depicting the Last Supper. We examined the lectern, and looked at the Bishop's throne among other things.
There was much to learn in a short space of time and we could now return and guide our families around, and maybe climb the Tower another time.
