7th Year Expedition
On Friday 11th June the 7th years left for their expedition on the Morrison-Bells land at Bellingham. We arrived and put up our tents. Then we were split into groups and each did a different activity. One activity was gorge scrambling, where you had to get your whole team across a river using ropes and harnesses. Another activity was search and rescue, when we had to find Jamie on a hill and carry him 25m in a stretcher we made ourselves. The last activity was where we all had to float down a river on our backs yelling 'fridge' whenever we hit a rock.
On Saturday evening we got into groups of three and barbequed our supper using mini barbeques. Our supper was steak, sausages and burgers, we all though this was a great way to have supper.
On Sunday we played some games, packed up and headed back to Mowden. We all loved our trip and would like to thank all the staff who helped and in particular Mr. Hill for organising it. We would also like to thank the kitchen ladies for preparing such yummy food for us, and the Morrison-Bells for allowing us to use their land.
