The Point to Point
On Sunday the 1st of March, the 5th
and one 7th year went to Tynedale to watch the point to point. We
met Delilah, she was going to race but she didn't want to. We all went to
Delilah's car and played with her dogs. We saw a horse going round without its
rider it came 1st.
Mr Peel asked us if we could find Lara and
we looked all over. Then there was an announcement:
"CAN JONATHAN PEEL PLEASE COME TO THE
WEIGHING ROOM. WE HAVE YOUR DAUGHTER!"
Three old Mowdenians were racing. One of them
was Toby Speke and he came 2nd, Nick Orpwood came 3rd.
James Thompson was also racing and Flora Blackett. We saw Harry Reed who was in
a different race and came 3rd. There was a bit of rain but it didn't
spoil our fun.
Every one returned back to school safely.
We like to thank Mr Spencer, Mr Peel and Mr
Douch for a lovely afternoon.
