Ice skating

On Sunday the 15^th March, the 5^th, 6^th and most of the 7^th year boarders went to the Whitley Bay ice rink. When we got there we put on our boots and went onto the rink.

Most of us were nervous but some were doing really well and going quite fast. There were a few people we didn't know who were amazing and could skate backwards. Lots of us fell over but the best fall had to be Miss Mattson, when she did a nose dive onto the ice; it was really funny! Just as we were coming off the ice we saw Eemil about to play ice hockey but we were in a rush so we had to leave without watching him.

We returned our skates and headed back to the bus.

On behalf of the 5^th, 6^th and 7^th year borders I would like to thank Mrs White for taking us and driving the bus and Miss Matson and Mr Douch for coming along with us.
