Music from the Sticks

On Sunday 11th November the Senior Choir, the Adult Choir and 6th year Choir went to Newcastle City Hall to perform the 'Oliver' medley for the 'Music from the Sticks' Concert. When we got there we waited in the green room behind the stage until it was our turn to perform. As we lined up to walk on to the stage, we listened to the main stage choir sing a medley of lots of songs which was very good. We went on and sang well to the audience, and then went to sit in the gallery of the hall to watch the end of the first half of the concert. The performers were all extremely good, but especially a boy band of around 15 year olds called Razor Sharp. The first half ended and we got back into the minibuses and went back to Mowden. On behalf of the choir, I would like to thank Mr Bryant for directing and organising such an enjoyable trip, Mr Spencer for driving a minibus and the rest of the choir for performing so well.
