Collingwood Laser QuasarCollingwood House Outing to the Metro-Centre and Laser-Quasar

On the 23rd September, the Collingwood 7th and 8th years went to the Metro-Centre to play Laser Quasar. We left after lunch on Sunday and arrived there shortly after. We then went shopping and we split up into groups. Herries bought an extremely funny book. We all met up at outside the Laser Quasar booth and discussed our buys (which consisted mainly of cheap clothing and sweets) while Herries searched diligently in his book. Andrew also recounted his race from one end of the Metro-Centre to the other because the roller coaster lasted longer than he anticipated. We then went into the Quasar ring. It was extremely fun. We played in two teams, the red and the green. The green was the staff and the 7th years and the red was the 8th years.

P9230116sm.jpgThe aim of the game was to score as many points as possible by shooting other players or by deactivating the opponent's base. In the end the greens won. The results everyone agreed were dodgy, but Max argued that his was not wrong at all. That might be because he was top gun, but that doesn't matter. We then regrettably had to leave and go back to school. On the way back Sarah and Victoria insisted on displaying their new underwear that Max described as "interesting". We got back at about twenty to five.

We would all like to thank Mr and Mrs Debil, Mrs Asker and the gappies for taking us on this amazing trip.
