Aydon Castle

On Sunday the 23^rd of September, the 4^th, 5^th, and most of the 6^th year girls went to Aydon Castle. When we got out of the minibus we saw Mrs. Muto, Mia and Alec. We had to walk to the castle and as soon as we got there we went into two holes in a brick wall. It was Tom BG who found it out. Then we all took turns in having a go and a photo in the two holes.

Then we went down a small passage, and Harry Gaisford succeeded in getting out from a small window. Then we went and looked at a few rooms and storage areas. Then we found the main hall with two thrones on it. We also took turns to be King and Queen!

After all that, we went down to the river and Alexandra, Jess M-A and Lilias went right down the river and sat on a log. Then Mr Peal made us race to the top of the hill. When we got to the top Harry Gaisford was 1^st, Jessica C was 2^nd and James C was 3^rd. Then it was time to go back to school. We would like to thank Mr B-G and Mr Peel for such a lovely trip.
