Year 6 go to Ullswater
On Friday the 27th April the 6th years set off to Ullswater. When we arrived we made an attempt to get our tents up but did not do so well and had to have some help. Soon it was dark and we built a camp fire and Les started sing a camp song and soon we were all joining in.
The next morning we woke up at 6 o'clock and got told off by Mr Hill and were sent back to bed. We did two activities; climbing and navigating. They were both very fun. When we got back we went in the lake (well some of us did) and after about 10 minutes we were out again because it was too cold. Then we cooked our own supper. Some were OK but others were a bit burnt. All night we were getting Mr Hawkins to tell us the cricket score with his phone.
On Sunday we packed our tents and set off back to school. We would like to thank Mr Hill for organising it and Les, Mr Hawkins, Mr Lord, Mr Peel, Miss Hogarth and Liam for helping and making it such a good weekend.
