Prep School numbers up by 20%

The Autumn Term is now underway, and we’re delighted to welcome so many new children to the school.  We welcome 37 children to the Prep School, and 15 to the Nursery and Pre-Prep.  This translates to a 20% increase in the number of pupils in the Prep School from September 2008 to September 2009.

Aided by fabulous sunshine, the new children had an exciting first day back.  Inevitably there was plenty of unpacking, as well as settling into dormitories and classrooms.  However the junior boarders found time for a fun evening game of ‘continuous cricket’ – a mixture of rounders and cricket – on the front lawn.
