Year 4-6 Visit to Alnmouth Beach on Sunday June 13th
On Sunday June 13th the year 4-6 boarders went on a visit to Alnmouth Beach, accompanied by Mr Fowlds, Mr Debil and Miss Donovan.
The weather was poor when we set off, but quite pleasant when we arrived.

We began with a huge picnic lunch, then spent the whole afternoon building castles, paddling in the sea, (not as cold as you might think), and playing kwik-cricket.
Mr Fowlds hit more sixes than Durham against Leicestershire, but the girls showed some real class against some strong bowling and fielding by the boys.
A few people managed to get buried in the sand, and we built a huge castle in the sand before the tide came in.
This was an energetic and very enjoyable day out.
