St Patrick's Night
Begorrah!
Our Irish night began with groups preparing their short sketches to celebrate all that is Irish! The children showed great imagination ... and courage to stand up and recite, act, sing and generally portray Irish songs, jokes, legends, dance. To see photos of their efforts, click here.
The Boarders all then went to the dining hall for a feast of Irish food - Dublin Bay prawn cocktail, Guinness Pie with greed drinks and green jelly to follow. The room was bedecked in shamrocks and leprechauns.
Thanks to Mr O'Sullivan for organising the evening, the kitchen staff for a sumptuous feast and to the Gappies for their help setting it all up.
