Hollywood Night - The Mowden Oscars

The stars were out on Saturday night as a gallery of celebrity lookalikes arrived for the Mowden Oscar Ceremony in the dining hall. Brad Pitt, 007, Rocky, Superman were all spotted entering the hall, many with their hopes pinned on the much coveted golden figurines. The hall was decked out with red carpet, remonders of great movies and a magnificent banquet was wheeled out by Pauline and her team from the school kitchens. Towards the end of the sumptuous feast, a quiz began, with questions about the world of film and the stars; nominations followed and finally the gappies announced the names of the lucky few, who were invited to walk the length of the red carpet to receive their awards. Speeches varied in length and much emotion flowed as some of the winners found themselves almost speechless!...... enjoy the photos!
