Rugby School Junior Choir
On the morning of Monday 21st May, the Rugby School Junior Choir gave a concert at Mowden. They started the concert with material by Liszt and Bruckner, before moving on to some solo items, that included some dazzling Flute playing, excellent solos by both a girl and a boy, as well as an interesting number by two boys, who accompanied themselves on acoustic guitars. The choir finished with some more modern songs including 'Bridge over troubled water' by Simon and Garfunkel.
The concert was much enjoyed by all those present. In the afternoon they were going to Durham Cathedral to practice before doing evensong.
