Pop Idol
On Saturday the 8th of December the biggest event of the year took place in the theatre which was decorated to perfection by the gappies. The Host was DJ RD (Mr Debil) who introduced our three fantastic judges: Posh Spice (Matey Ellie), Sharon Osbourne (Mrs White) and lastly Simon Cowell (Mrs Debil).
The first contestents were Miranda, Amelia and Saskia who did 'Valerie' by Amy Whinehouse. They were really good but the judges thought their dancing was too cheesy. There were lots of other good dances by the 4th Years and 5th Years but the 6th Year girls dance (flying the flag) was the best..so far! When the 8th Year dance came, I got nervous because I knew they were good but Will and I went back stage to get ready. We were last. We got onto the stage, we were doing a song that we wrote. It went alright but the amp bished up as the wires got tangled so it was too quiet, but we did it as well as we could and had loads of fun! The eventual winners were the 6th Year girls who did 'Flying the Flag' who I thought deserved it. It was awesome fun and it was all down to the gappies, Jamie, Tazz, Gabby and Imogen.
