The New Headmaster

DSC_0090sm.jpgAs of 1st September 2007, Mr Ben Beardmore-Gray is Mowden Hall's new Headmaster. Having been appointed earlier this summer, Mr Beardmore-Gray moved into the Headmaster's accommodation in the school buildings with his family during the summer holidays, in time for the start of the new term.

Mr Beardmore-Gray joins Mowden following six years as Deputy Headmaster at Farleigh Prep School in Hampshire, where he was Head of Boarding and Pastoral Care. He taught at Ludgrove School before that.

Mr Beardmore-Gray's wife, Sarah, will be thoroughly involved in the pastoral and domestic side of life at Mowden. Their two elder children, Tom (5) and Ella (4) have joined the Pre-Prep, and their youngest son, Jake (2), will join the Nursery next year.

Mr Mike Spencer, who was Acting Headmaster last academic year, has returned to his post as Deputy Headmaster.
