Dance Competition
On Saturday the 15th of September all of the Mowden boarders had a dance competition. All of us went into the theatre where the gappies put us into 6 groups, and they gave each group a place to practice their dance. As we left the theatre they also gave us a CD which had a song on it which we had to make a dance up to. We had an hour to practice.
When the hour was up the gappies rang a bell, and we all assembled in the theatre ready to perform our dance. Group 1 did there dance to ‘Destination Unknown’, Group 2 did their’s to ‘Candyman’, Group 3 ‘Girlfriend’, Group 4 ‘Umbrella’, Group 5 ‘Everybody dance now’, and Group 6 did theirs to ‘Voodoo child’. The winning dance was ‘Everybody dance now’ and the two that came 2nd was ‘Umbrella’ and ‘Candyman’.
