Mowden Hall School Merges with the Cothill Educational Trust
Standing L to R: Simon Blackmore (Bursar CET), James Royds (Chairman of Governors - Mowden Hall), Adrian Richardson (Principal CET), Jim Johnson (Bursar - Mowden Hall)
Seated: Mr. & Mrs. Ben Beardmore Gray
As of the Autumn Term 2007, Mowden Hall has become the fifth member of the Cothill Educational Trust (CET). The CET comprises the following schools: Cothill House, Kitebrook House, Chandlings Manor, Château de Sauveterre and now Mowden Hall.
As with the other schools in the Trust, Mowden Hall will retain its operating independence but will have the full backing of the Trust in terms of finance, educational experience and administrative support.
In particular, this merger secures Mowden Hall's link with Château de Sauveterre, thus ensuring that Year 7 pupils will continue to reap the benefits of a term in France.
The merger into the CET represents a very exciting time for the school. Immediate benefits can already be seen in new investment into the school buildings and facilities.
