Year 6 Play - The History House - February 2009

Back from the Christmas break in January, the Year 6 children spent the first half of the Spring term at Mowden working on their play "The History House".  6W and 6P wished to construct a script which had a strong connection with history.  The first few lessons involved both classes working through a series of improvisatory ideas and then selecting the best of those ideas for further, more formal development in text form.  The ideas, the characters and many of the situations were the children's. As a team, their enthusiasm and commitment to the cause was exemplary, and resulted in a highly enjoyable play performed to the School and parents.

This is a selection of photographs taken at a rehearsal of the Year 6 Play.
