Year 5 Play - Scheherazade - 6th March 2009

Poking around in a junk shop full or oriental charms, two children are looking for a birthday present for their Grandfather. They discover a heavy dust-covered book-'Tales of the Arabian Nights'. A mysterious character, whom the children take to be the shopkeeper, suddenly appears and then tells the children about the book before reading them the story of Princess Scheherazade.

Year 5 have been working on this production since well before half-term, which has resulted in an exciting performance of a high standard.
