The Pre-Prep department actively encourages the involvement of parents in their children’s life at the school.
Before your child starts in the Pre-Prep, we will arrange several taster sessions with you so that your child is familiar and comfortable with the School and its environment.
Every day when a child is dropped off in the morning and collected in the afternoon, their teacher will be available to discuss any issues that may have arisen at home or at school during the day.
Once a term, there is a ‘Class Assembly’ when each class is open for children to share their work and achievements with their parents.
There are regular written reports, weekly newsletters, class week aheads, and scheduled parent meetings to keep parents informed of their child’s progress. In addition to this we also have a parent handbook, notice board and various social media channels, including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
In addition to class assemblies, parents are also invited to sporting events, drama and music productions throughout the year.
The Pre-Prep Department at Mowden Hall School is full of confident, happy and busy children. Our best advertisement is the children themselves so please come and see for yourself. We welcome visits at any time, to suit you and your child. We look forward very much to meeting you.
