Some boarders enjoyed preparing for Christmas last weekend, in and out of school. The Trees were decorated and there was a lot of crafty activity going on in the two dining rooms with some impressive looking results. They went to see the excellent Corbridge Christmas Tree Show at Corbridge Church, where many local businesses and groups had each decorated their own trees in the style of their choice. There were some very beautiful and imaginatively dressed trees to admire. The local choir sang carols during the afternoon. As a treat, the Boarders headed for the new Starbucks at the recently opened Hexham Services and had creamy hot chocolate.
