On Saturday evening, the boarders celebrated Burns Night, if a little early in the month. Proceedings were kicked off with Cecilia saying the Selkirk Grace before the Haggis was addressed and eaten. Mr Bailey delivered the Immortal Memory before everyone had their knowledge of Scots tested with a game of Heads or Tails. After supper, everyone retired to the small dining room where reels ensued. The Gay Gordons, Dashing White Sergeant, Canadian Barn Dance and an Orcadian Strip the Willow were danced with much enthusiasm and enjoyment. A braw night indeed!
